Joanne Kim

President & Chief Executive Officer

Joanne Kim has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CBB Bank since April 2011. Ms. Kim previously served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Wilshire State Bank and its holding company.

Prior to her appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wilshire State Bank, she has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Wilshire Bancorp. Previously, Ms. Kim served as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of Hanmi Bank until 1999. Ms. Kim holds a B.A. degree from Korea University.

Michael McCall

Executive Vice President
& Chief Financial Officer

Michael McCall is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for CBB Bank. Mr. McCall is a senior level executive with extensive experience in financial management and business leadership, bringing expertise in a number of areas including strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions and public reporting requirements.

Prior to joining CBB, Mr. McCall served as EVP & Chief Financial Officer for Hanmi Bank, as SVP & Principal Accounting Officer for BBCN Bank, and also served in executive roles for Wells Fargo, KPMG, Sanwa Bank, and others. Mr. McCall obtained his Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics from the University of California at Los Angeles and is currently an inactive Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

Alex Choi

Executive Vice President
& Chief Credit Officer

Alex Choi is the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of CBB Bank. Mr. Choi is responsible for overseeing the company's asset quality and credit risk management, including credit approval.

A member of the company's executive management team, Mr. Choi leads Credit Administration, Special Asset, and Loan Documentation. His team leads initiatives for managing credit risk and sustaining a strong credit risk culture. Mr. Choi oversees the development and implementation of credit risk management measures across the company business units, including Loan Production Offices. Combined, these teams manage credit approval, policy, collection, and documentation matters to support sustainable, profitable corporate growth.

A banking professional with 19 years of experience, he joined the company in 2011. Before being head of credit for CBB Bank, Mr. Choi served as Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Credit Officer of Center Bank, which merged with Nara Bank to form BBCN Bank.

Christopher Barber

Executive Vice President
& Chief Information Officer

Christopher Barber is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for CBB Bank. Mr. Barber is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and creation of a collaborative approach designed to align IT and Product Development in support of the company’s strategic initiatives. Mr. Barber has more than 20 years of experience leading strategic development and implementation in the technology arenas.

Prior to joining CBB, Mr. Barber served as CTO for American LegalNet; SVP & CIO at WesCorp and GlobeNet Capital Corporation. He also held leadership positions with Prudential Vector Securities as Senior Technology Officer and with Mercer Investments as the Director of Software Development for their Global Resource Group.

Mr. Barber received his M. B. A. in Finance from DePaul University and his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Central Michigan University.

Andrew Kim

Senior Vice President
& Chief Lending Officer

Andrew Kim is the Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for CBB Bank. Mr. Kim is responsible for overseeing the lending operations and managing the overall lending production for the Bank. Prior to his appointment as the Chief Lending Officer, Mr. Kim served as the Deputy Chief Credit Officer for CBB Bank.

Mr. Kim’s banking experience spans a period of over 25 years and includes serving as VP & Credit Administration Manager for Mission Valley Bank and as VP of Credit Administration for Citizens Business Bank, Union Bank, Universal Bank, Center Bank and Asahi Bank of California.

Mr. Kim holds a degree in Social Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Alicia Lee

Senior Vice President
& Chief Operations Administrator

Alicia Lee is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Administrator for CBB Bank. Ms. Lee brings a wide range of skills and in-depth knowledge in product development, system implementation and process enhancement and looks to provide strong operations management at CBB Bank.

Prior to joining CBB, Ms. Lee served as FVP & Operations Administration Manager for former Wilshire Bank and as VP and Operations Officer for Hanmi Bank.

Ms. Lee studied Psychology at California State University at Northridge and received her Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.

Richard Lopatto

Senior Vice President
& Chief Risk Officer

Richard Lopatto is the Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for CBB Bank. He is responsible for compliance risk assessment, risk reporting, risk systems, and vendor management. Mr. Lopatto has over 30 years of internal audit and regulatory supervisory experience. He began his career in bank examinations with the FDIC and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Before joining CBB Bank as the Audit Manager which he served for over 3 years, Mr. Lopatto was an SVP & Audit Manager at BBCN Bank and at Saehan Bank. He also managed the internal audit function for Mizuho Corporate Bank of California and the Mitsubishi Trust & Banking Corp., Los Angeles Agency

Mr. Lopatto earned his degree in Commerce and Finance from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. He also holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles Chapter of the IIA.
